was born in 1938 in Altenburg, Germany. He attended art school in Bielefeld and art school in Münster, and has work in several public collections. He has sculptures in public spaces in Bremen-Brinkum and Vegesack, Germany. He currently lives in Worpswede, Germany from where he shows locally and internationally. His works range from abstract portraiture to more abstract forms in general.
