Dorothy
Kethler
was born in California, USA. She began taking photos at an early age with a Brownie and has continued photography for over 60 years. Her first trip to Guatemala was in 1999 and in 2006 she moved with her cat Katmandu to Panajachel.
With the advent of the digital camera, photography took on a greater importance in her life. She describes living in Panajachel as living in a rainbow, having found the place where her love of color and nature have free reign.
